Adelina (Addie) Esquibel Quintana, age 89, a lifelong resident of Taos and El Prado has gone to our Lord and God; she was a lifelong communicant of the Catholic Faith, a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. Adelina was born on January 13, 1924 and passed away on November 8, 2013. She married Cristoval Daniel Quintana on January 21, 1946 and the good Lord blessed them with a wonderful family: David Orlando (her son) and Maria, and their children, Marisol and Francisco; and Stephen Cristoval (her son) and Elizabeth, and their children, Isabella, Demosthenes, and Cristoval, and one great-grandson, Ivan.
Adelina was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Abenancia, her husband, Cristoval, her sisters Mary, Rose, Beatrice and Dorothy, and the two (2) brothers who joined God at birth, and cousin Esequiel Trujillo. She is survived by her two Sons David and (Maria), and Steve and (Elizabeth), the LOVES her life: her five grandchildren and great-grand child; her Sisters Rafey, Vangie and Irene, as well as Brothers Joe, Frank, Charlie, Gilbert, and Ralf.
Rosary was recited on November 11, 2013. Funeral mass was held on November 12, 2013. Both were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Taos. Interment was held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
