Adelita C Salazar

Adelita Cordova Salazar passed away peacefully on February 20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Emilio and Josephita Cordova, her husband Ernest J. Salazar, sister Ersilia Tafoya, son Ernest Leroy Salazar, and grandson Tenanco Borrego. She was survived by her daughter, Debarri Gonzales and son-in-law Henry Gonzales, grandchildren, Carina Jaramillo, Evan Salazar, Anela "Nani" Flores, and Emilio Borrego, and four great grandchildren. She was born in Cordova and lived in Espanola, NM. She was an elementary school teacher for 33 years at Cordova and San Juan elementary schools. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 3PM at the Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, NM. A reception will follow. Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 12:45PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
