Adelmo Eliu Vigil, 71, of Arroyo Hondo passed away surrounded by his family on March 08, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Albuquerque. He retired from the Moly Mine in Questa. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Rosemary Vigil, parents, Florence and Eliu Vigil, brothers, Charles and Leroy Vigil, parents in law, Julian and Elvira Vigil. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Regina Vigil, children, Patricia Briones (Victor), Luis Vigil, Miquela Vigil and Brian Cooper, grandchildren, Antonio, Florence and Alejandro Vigil, Emilio and Mariah Briones, nephews and niece he helped raise, Raul Ortega (Emma), Lydia Ortega (Mike) and Ignacio Ortega (Jeff). He is also survived by his sisters, Annabell Romero, Christine Vigil (Johnny) and Darlene Clonts (David), sisters in laws, Lillian, Julia and Mary Lou Vigil, brothers in law, Eraclio “Jets” Vigil (Jenny) and Carlos Ortega, many other relatives and friends.
Rosary was recited on March 16, 2017. Funeral mass was held on March 17, 2017. Both were held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with interment following at the Rael Cemetery.
