Adina Rivera

Adina Rivera, 91, of Albuquerque and formerly of Taos passed away peacefully on Dec, 6, 2024. Adina grew up in Anton Chico, NM and graduated from Santa Rosa High School. She and her husband, Amos, owned and operated Rivera Funeral Homes in Pueblo, CO and Taos NM. She is preceded in death by her husband Amos, grandson Matthew Rivera, Jr., brother Seferino Rael, Jr. and parents Seferino and Elena Rael. She is survived by her six children Thomas (Joyce) Rivera of Pueblo, CO, Tim (Kellie) Rivera of Taos, Elizabeth (Dan Bootzin) Rivera-Bootzin of Los Angeles, CA, Christine (Mark Wheaton) Rivera of Santa Fe, Matthew Rivera, Sr. of Albuquerque, Patricia (Darren Crouch) Rivera-Crouch of Albuquerque, grandchildren Rena, Isaac, Miranda, Timur, Mark YQ, Rui Ping, Manuel, Madelynn, Abigail, Zoë, great grandchildren Makai’o, Kaipo, Jaden, Xavier and Champ, and numerous nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her sisters Griselda Montano of CO, Marie Fuchida of NJ, Eulalia (Orlie) Ortega of CO and sister-in-law. Martha Rael of CO. Service and interment were held at the Rivera Santa Fe Memorial Gardens in Santa Fe, NM.
