Albert Trujillo of Santa Fe, NM passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 1, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 76.Albert was preceded in death by his dad Concepcion (Tiny) Trujillo and mom Della, grandson Carlitos Ortega, two sisters Marie and Elsie, brothers-in-law Ruben Sandoval and Gary Stewart, nephew Ruben Jr., nieces Eileen Trujillo and Angela Sandoval. In-Laws Amabe and Bernie Garduno, sister-in-law Frances Martinez, husband Robert and brother-in-law Alfred Garduno.Surviving are Lola, his wife of 50 years. His daughter Joan, sons Albert (Christy), Donald (Connie), Richard (Dina), and his pride and joy granddaughter Danielle Trujillo, siblings Connie Paul (Lucy), Abner, Lawrence, Theresa (Larry), Marie Ann (Angelo), Kathy (Bob), Lizzy, Christine, godson Angelo Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.Albert attended St. Francis Catholic School and St. Michael's High School where he acquired his love and faith for our Lord Jesus Christ. he has served the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe as an usher for several years. he graduated from St. Michael's High School in 1958 and has remained one of SMHS biggest sports fan.Albert worked in the aircraft industry, McDonnell Douglas, for fifteen years in Lakewood California. He returned back to Santa Fe in 1978 and worked for The City of Santa Fe until his retirement in 2002.Albert was a very active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for thirty eight years. He served his local Aerie in various offices, as president twice and was NM State President 2011-2012. During his terms in office his priority was fund raising for Santa Fe's youth for scholarships and donations to youth centers. albert was also an active member of the Santa Fe Fiesta Council. He worked hard and was proud to be a member of this great
