Alex Quintana

Alejandro (Alex) Tomas Quintana, a life-long resident of Taos for 76 years, passed away Wednesday after a lengthy illness. Alex retired from Moly Corp in Questa. His love in life were his children and the outdoors. He will always be remembered as an avid outdoorsman who shared this passion with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cristobal and Catalina Quintana, brothers, Orlando, Herman and Cristobal Quintana; sisters, Mary Maes and Margie Fernandez. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Quintana, son, Tomas Quintana and the mother of his children, Ana J. Quintana, sister, Lillian Anglada and husband, Aniseto, brothers, Robert Quintana (wife, Ernestine), Patricio Quintana (wife, Lolita), Ray Quintana (wife, Patricia), and Leopoldo Quintana (wife, Margaret), and many nephews, nieces and Friends. Rosary was recited on February 27, 2012. Funeral mass was held on February 28, 2012. Both services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. A reception followed at the St. Joseph Parish Hall.
