Alfonso Valencia Alfonso Valencia, age 84, of Pecos, passed away on August 5, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ida M. Valencia and his grandson, Bernie Valencia Jr. He is survived by his children: Ramona Dalton (Paul), Bernie (Margaret), Stella Cordova (Larry), Margaret (Dwayne), Dolores (Teddy), Jessie, Rose (Mark) and Valerie; Special granddaughters, Mida and Juliette Cordova; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and 2 godchildren. Services will be held at St. Anthony’s Church in Pecos, NM today, August 10, 2017. Visitation will begin at 8:30am. There will be a Rosary recited at 9:00am, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10am. The Internment will be held in Pine (Colonias, NM), after the Mass.
