Alixandria “Alix” Sidney Jeantete was born August 30, 1994 to her parents George Jeantete and Christine Baca and was reunited with her great grandparents, Kenneth and Maria Stahnke and Sophie Anaya, grandmother Kathryn Stahnke, father George Jeantete and father figure Steve Roybal, cousins Joy Stahnke and Vanessa Perea, on March 7, 2024 at the age of 29.
Alix was a 2012 graduate of Santa Fe High School. After having graduated, she joined the United States Army and served proudly. She was an avid basketball player in her high school years. She had a strong interest in painting, dancing, fishing, softball and sports. She was a loyal fan of the Denver Broncos and the New York Yankees. However, her passion for life was spending time with her family.
Alix had the ability to light up any room with her infectious smile. She was gifted with a great sense of humor and witty personality. Two of her best attributes were her beautiful soul and purest of hearts. She lead the life of touching the lives of many people around her and leaving imprints of her beautiful being.
Alix is survived by her mother Christine Baca, stepfather Arcy Baca; grandfather Ralph Stahnke (Rita), sisters Wendy Herrera (Paul) and Savannah Baca, brother Steve Roybal (Amorette), Aunts Margaret Trujillo, Martha Stahnke (Mike) and Yvonna Vigil (Thomas), Nieces Natalia, Amariah and Aliyah Herrera and Lynsey, Kylie and Ella Roybal, nephews Isaiah Herrera and Derek Roybal, countless cousins but close and special cousins Ariana Perea and Amanda Stahnke and many, many friends.
Her life was a blessing and her memory a treasure and is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, we’d walk right up to Heaven and bring her home again.
Serving as Pallbearers are Arcy Baca, Steve Roybal, Paul Herrera, Thomas Vigil, Jacklyn Jablonski and Teddi Trujillo.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Isaiah Herrera and Derek Roybal.
