Alvaro Nerio Avila

Alvaro Nerio Nene Avila, 80, of Taos originally of Arroyo Seco passed away on July 5, 2009. He was a carpenter, worked for Holy Cross Hospital and retired from the Town of Taos. He is preceded in death by first wife, Placida Avila, parents, Nerio and Genoveva C. Avila, inlaws, Antonio and Siria Varos Baca and brother in law, George C. Baca. He is survived by his wife, Emma Archuleta, sons, Eli Avila (Cheryl) and Tony Baca, stepson, Julian Archuleta (Prescilla), grandchildren, Francisco Baca, Anne, Deann, John and Timothy from Colorado, sister, Antonia Fernandez (Juan), brother, Gustavo Avila (Rebecca), cousin and sister in law, Priscilla Baca, niece, JoAnn Baca, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Evening service was held on July 7, 2009 at Rivera Chapel. Funeral Service was held on July 8, 2009 at Calvary de Taos.
