Amado Tito Valencia was born March 29, 1937 in Colonias, New Mexico and passed away on March 29, 2016 at his Santa Fe home. Tito worked in Santa Fe for Chapman Homes and Robert Lucero Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents, Catarino Valencia and Tiburcia Gonzalez; brothers, Phil Valencia, Bartolo Valencia, and Tedodolo Valencia; sisters, Librada Rodriguez, Erlinda Lucero, Virginia Archuleta, and Carlota Valencia; and sons, Ronald Valencia and Aaron Ellis. Tito is survived by his wife Corine Ellis; brother, Sibrano Valencia; his children, Eric (Dolores) Valencia, Darlene Romo (Sergio), Manual Valencia, Angela Valencia, Manual (Susan) Romero Valencia, Rose (Francisco) Padilla, Samantha Flores, and Anthony Valencia; 21 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren; Godsons, Steve Archuleta, Anthony Valencia, and Moses Flores and God Daughter, Eileen Sena; and many nieces and nephews he loved very much. A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at St. Anne Catholic Church, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Eric Valencia, Anthony Valencia, Robert Varela, Toby Varela, Ernie Flanagon, and Clyde J. Ellis. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be James Veleta and Lucas Rosas.
