Andrew Flores, 84, was born in Raton on February 9, 1937. He was a lifetime resident of Santa Fe and went to be with the lord on November 3, 2021
He is preceded in death by his parents Benny and Josie; brother Jimmy; daughter Janice and great grandson Isiah.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Eleanor; sister Doris Sanchez (Leo); daughter Joanna (Henry); son Andrew (Theresa); granddaughters Vanessa, Yvette (Sef), Renae (Steven), Candace (Lucas), grandson Jimmy, and grand daughter Maranda (Isiah), six great grandchildren, nephews and nieces and many other family members and friends.
Andrew worked in the printing business for over 40 years, retiring from Paper Tiger. He served in the Navy during the Korean conflict. He loved his cars, playing the guitar and was an avid boxing and Dallas Cowboys fan. Andrew had a huge heart and was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. He will be greatly missed by all whose heart he touched.
A rosary will be recited at 1:00 p.m. with memorial at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 13, 2021 at Rivera Family Kiva Chapel of Light on 417 East Rodeo Road in Santa Fe. A reception will follow immediately following the memorial service at American Legion Post 1 on 1601 Berry Avenue near 2nd and Cerrillos Road.
