Angelina A. Salazar, Age 89 a resident from Santa Cruz, NM passed away on July 16, 2018. Angelina was preceded in death by her Husband; Thomas Salazar, Parents; Simon and Luz Gomez; Daughter; Lucy F. Salazar, Brothers; Marcos Gomez, Eloy Gomez, Nephews; George, Manuel and Kenneth Gomez. She is survived by her Son; Paul Salazar, Brother; Simon Gomez, Nephews; Michael, Ralph and Stephen Gomez, Greg Gomez and wife Carol, Nieces; Laverne Allen and husband Bill, and Stephanie Gomez. She is also survived by many other family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Angelina (Angie) was a business owner for 60 years, she and her Husband Thomas owned and ran Tom’s Liquor in Santa Cruz, NM. Angie was best known as “Primita”. She was a devoted Catholic and attended, Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Public Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Rivera Family Funeral Home Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, 10:00 AM, at the Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. (Holy Cross). Interment will follow at the Santa Cruz Cemetery.
