Angelina Montoya

Angelina Montoya age 85 a resident of Los Luceros, NM passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 with her loving family by her side in Bernalillo, NM. Angelina also known as “Angie” was the second youngest child born in Los Luceros on March 28, 1933 to Seferino and Candelaria Salazar. She was preceded in death by her parents, Children; Patrick Martinez Jr., Margaret Watson, and Gilbert Valdez; great grandchildren; Destiny Herrera and Eli Martinez; sister-in-law; Theresa Salazar and her son-in-law Randy Maestas. Brothers; Leandro, Bernardo, Juvencio, Gito, Teodoro, Seferino, Jr., and Filadelphio Salazar; Sisters; Elisa Salazar, Mary Archuleta, Sylveria Salazar, Eloisa Salazar, and Mercedes Maestas. Ms. Montoya is survived by her Children; David Martinez (Marie), Kenneth Valdez, and Kathleen Maestas, Grandchildren; David Jr., Clyde (Rica), Michael, Angeline (Steve), Andrea (Ray), Kasey Anne, Isaiah (Rebecca) Joel, Randy, Anthony, Marlene, Miquela, and Gilbert, Great grandchildren; Jaylend, CJ, Monique, Kevin, Patrick, Jesslyn, Jennifer, Rayna, Kasen, Zamara, Nadia, Brianna, Cattaleya, Jayden, Josiah, Kashton, Alex and numerous nephews and nieces, Sister; Martha Martinez; many other cousins, relatives and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, 7:00 pm, at the Rivera Family Funeral Home Chapel, Espanola, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, 10:00 am at St. John the Baptist Church in San Juan, NM. Interment will follow funeral mass at the Alcalde Cemetery.
