Anita Apodaca

Age 78 of Santa Fe, NM passed away on December 4, 2024. She was born March 28, 1946 to Corina and Ismael. Anita had very strong faith and loved Spanish music, old country and dancing. She loved her family more than anything and showed her love and support by caring for her grandchildren while their parents worked, visiting family often and attending her grandchildren’s events. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Corina and Ismael, her brothers Arturo, Amado, and Ish; her husband Michael, sons Matthew and Darrell, grandson Adam, along with numerous close family members whom she dearly loved. 

She is survived by her daughters and son in laws Rebecca & Mike, Allicia & Peter. Daughter-in-law Renee, Grandchildren Karissa (Ben), Dominic, Kathleen, Lucas (Rudie), Max, Kylie (Corey), & Great grandson Jayce. She is also survived by her sisters whom she dearly loved Vitalia & Maria and many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved & loved spending time with.  

A rosary will be recited Thursday December 12, 2024 at 6pm at Riveras Kiva Chapel of Light 417 E. Rodeo Rd. Santa Fe, NM 87505.  

Funeral Services will be held Friday December 13, 2024 at 11am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 100 S. Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
