Anita G. Lopez Resident of Nambe To our devoted mom, who journeyed to heaven to be with her mother and Mary, Mother of Jesus. Amongst her many devotions she was a member of Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe del Valle de Pojoaque, Catholic Daughters, Life in the Spirit Seminars and prayer groups. She worked in the medical field as a radiologist technician and was actively involved in the community. Loved dancing and photography. She had a special relationship with “El Maestro” Luisito Lujan who taught her the art of straw applique. Her passion for life came from the Spiritual Love she had for family, friends and all people, most of all for her children, grandchildren. Special “thank you” to all whom helped her, had thoughts, feelings and prayed on her behalf. This along with Anita’s devout faith kept her purpose which was to want to be well. Preceded in death by: son Vincent Lopez, Jr.; parents Dionicio (Teresina) Galvez; grandmother Anita Guillen who helped raise her; Be-Wed parents Praxedes (Otilia) Lopez; brothers and sister Vivian (Salvador) Ortiz, Robert Lopez; Aunts Ofilia Lopez, Francis Aranda, Rebecca Salazar; Uncles Tranquilino, Henry, Phillip Guillen; nephews Joseph Galvez, Steven Lopez, Jr.; cousin Henry Salazar Survived by: Vincent Lopez, Sr.; children Mario, Angelo Lopez, Teresa (Tom) Pacheco, Melachiah Lopez; grandchildren Gabriel Lopez, Thomas, Matthew, Michael Pacheco, Angela Gomez, Zachary Lopez; Aunt Rafelita Martinez; brothers and sisters Dennis (Josie) Galvez, Mellie (Robert) Kain, Priscilla Otero, Eileen Galvez (Tom Barker), Frank (Yolanda) Galvez, Gilbert (Jane) Lopez, Steven (Belinda) Lopez, Michael (Marcella) Gordon, Francis (Dave) Gastelum. Pallbearers: Dora Martinez, Guadalupe Martinez, Sophie Trujillo, Patty Romero, Bernice Garduno, Irene Herrera; Honorary pallbearers: Abby Jaramillo, Feliz Garduno, Gloria Trujillo. A Public Visitation will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary recital at 7:00 p.m. at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe in Pojoaque, N.M. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe. Interment will be at the Pojoaque cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
