Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Friend
Anja Baca, 58, Passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. It was time to once again see her mother, Marti Baca of Jackson, MS. and father, Joseph D. After her time at the airport, she moved to the D. A’s office in Santa Fe then to the Public Defender’s office. He goal was always to help others and that was always reflected in her government work. She had a passion for airplanes, baking, true crime and spending time with her grandchildren.
Anja showed us a diligently caring personality. She was always kind and willing to be of assistance and take charge of situations when needed. Her presence was always valued and the radiance she brought to any room she was in was a true gift. She is survived by her Children, Sara S. Stewart, and Joseph A. Baca-Ortiz; Grandchildren: Jack D. Baca-Ortiz and, Claire M. Baca-Ortiz; Brother and Sister: Marc Landfair and Adele Baca; Nephew: Kikko F. Baca; Great-nephews and Niece: Maximus W. Baca, Orion P. Baca, and Madilyn S.
