Anne B. Kious

Anne Kious passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family, the evening of Tuesday, July 23. All through this year with cancer, she was cared for by her close friends and community. As was her true nature, she left this world with a smile on her face. She was the daughter of Josselyn and Francis Bebee, and is survived by her brother Edwin Bebee, her son Tom Kious (Jeanelle), her daughter Nura Capriglione (D'Angelo), and grandchildren Laila, Sylvia, Benjamin, and Olivia. She also counted as her family, her spiritual teachers, Herman Rednick, Bokar Rinpoche, Lama Karma Dorje, Thrangu Rinpoche, and Khenpo Jigme, among many others, as well as the brothers and sisters with whom she walked her path. She said, I would like to be remembered as playing an active part in the spiritual community here (where she lived). I tried to help support Herman's (her teacher's) vision for this community. I tried to promote harmony in this community. A memorial celebration will be held Saturday August 3rd at 11 AM at the Meditation Temple, 26 Quintana Road in El Rito north of Questa, followed by a potluck at the Herman Rednick House, 40 Lorien Road.
