Anne D. Walker

Anne Davis Walker, 94, a life-long resident of New Mexico passed away peacefully in Santa Fe, NM on January 4, 2016 with her son and daughter at her side. Anne was born into the Davis family in Moriarty NM on July 26, 1921; a family of 13 brothers and sisters. Anne was number 13. She married her husband Remmel Walker of St. Joe, Arkansas in 1941. Anne was a successful business woman in her own right. She was a world traveler and a devoted student of the spiritual teacher Deepak Chopra. Anne is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Remmel Walker; her parents Joseph and Juanita Davis; six sisters, Isabel Abeyta, Helen Davis, Goldie Petroli, Lucy Davis Sanchez, Mary Davis Coons, and Celina Raff; six brothers, George Davis, Frank Davis, Celso Davis, Joe Davis, Charlie Davis, and Paul Davis. Anne is survived by her son, Joseph Delta Walker; her daughter, Ginger Walker Gallegos; her grandson Levi Walker (Albuquerque) and two granddaughters Monique Diekroger of Atlanta; and Janelle Moltz of Denver; and three great-grandchildren. A private family service will be held, at a later date.
