Annie "Anita" Santistevan

Annie “Anita” Santistevan, 98, of Des Montes, Taos, NM passed away November 29, 2015 held by her grandson Joseph Torres. Annie was born to the late Hipolito & Ciria Montoya of Los Cordovas. She is greeted in heaven by her parents, her husband Horacio Santistevan, son Jose Sanistevan and grandson Jimmy Griffin. She is also preceded in death by her siblings Tito Montoya, Quirina DesGeorges, Pauline Quintana, Rumalda Solomon and Polito Montoya. She is survived by her daughter Cecilia Griffin (Jim); her grandchildren Brigitte Camille Torres, Olga Torres Reid (Paul), Joseph Torres (Lisa), Laura Griffin, Shawn Griffin; her great grandchildren Ryan Griffin, Stephen Griffin, Cortnie Gurno, Tanya Gurno , Triana Reid, Jimmy Torres, Lee Torres, Joseph Torres Jr., Mary Torres, Jacob Torres, Rachael Griffin, Kaila Griffin, Dante Gonzales; her great-great grandchildren Josiah Salazar and Violet Griffin, her sister Viola Ortiz, several nieces and nephews and many more friends and family. Annie will be greatly missed by all and will be remembered as a strong woman who greatly loved her family. Rosary will be recited Sunday December 6 2015 at 6PM at Rivera Chapel. Funeral mass will be held Monday December 7, 2015 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Reception to follow at Paul and Olga’s residence at 71 Camino Sur del Llano Quemado.
