ANNIE C. ENCINIAS Annie C. Encinias, 80, of Las Cruces, NM, formerly of Pecos, NM, passed away peacefully Friday, July 29, 2016 in Las Cruces. Annie was born October 2, 1935 in Anton Chico, NM, the daughter of Claudio and Helen Rael. She was raised and attended schools in Anton Chico. On November 11, 1951 she married the love of her life, Casimiro E. Encinias. They raised their five children, Casey Jr., Jessie, Frank, Joyce and Ana Encinias. She was grandma to 7 grandkids, 11 great grandkids, and 5 great, great grandkids that she cherished dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Casimiro; sister, Dora Padilla; sons, Frank and Jessie; and grandson, Jude Encinias. Annie is survived by her son, Casey Jr; daughters, Joyce and Ana Encinias; El Concentido Bisnieto Christopher Carrillo; brothers, Joe, Chris, and Freddy; and sister Madeline, Clara, Terry, and Bernice. Also surviving are her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her dog Copper. Annie enjoyed her beautiful flowers, being outside and spending time with family. She was always very happy; her love for her family will never be forgotten. A Rosary was recited on Monday evening, August 1, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Pecos. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Pecos. Interment will follow at Pecos Cemetery.
