Ann Marie Burke

Ann Marie (Toste) Burke of San Cristobal, passed away on December 27, 2016. She was married for 44 years to Timothy F. Burke. Born in Fall River, Mass., she grew up in Rehoboth, Mass. and graduated from the University of Massachusetts. After an extended cross country trip, Ann and Tim decided they needed the blue skies and open spaces of the West. They moved to New Mexico in 1976. Ann enjoyed movies, crossword puzzles, camping, boating and fishing. She would regularly out fish her husband. She enjoyed traveling as long as it didn't involve airplanes. After a long trip she would always say "There's no place like home". She is survived by her husband Tim, mother, Marie June (Duarte) Toste, brother, Joseph Alan Toste, numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews in-law and many friends. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, especially to children and animals. She was loved deeply and will be greatly missed. Arrangements by Rivera Funeral Home.
