Ann Padilla

Ann S. Padilla Ann passed away on May 8, 2018, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Born on May 15, 1957, she was the fifth child of Antonio and Geraldine Saiz. She married Rick Padilla and together they raised two sons, Carlos and Matthew Padilla. Ann was also a beloved mother to her daughter-in-law Insima Padilla and an extraordinary grandmother to Jaylyn Padilla. In death, Ann joins her mother and father, as well as her brothers: Arthur Saiz; Tony Saiz; James “Jimmy” Saiz; Philip Saiz; and James “Jimmy” Padilla. Ann’s surviving siblings include: Martha Kossman (and her husband Alan); Nancy Saiz; Hollie Saiz; and Vincent Saiz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews whom she loved as though they were her own children. Ann left an indelible mark on everyone that was blessed to meet her. She was quick to welcome strangers as family and would do anything to lend a hand when needed. She worked hard and loved with all of her heart. Her warmth, kindness, wit, and grace will be desperately missed and the world has truly dimmed without her light. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at San Isidro Church in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
