Anthony “Tony” Martinez, age 66, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Tony was born January 17, 1958, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Tony worked with the City of Santa Fe as a heavy-duty equipment operator, he then found his true passion for hunting Elk, he became a guide for hunters from all over the world. He was also an avid fisherman and lived for the outdoors. He had a zest for life and was quite the character. He had an outgoing personality and a sense of humor that made him the life of the party. He had so many friends that loved him so much. There was constantly a buddy at his house making plans to either go fishing or hunting, depending on the time frame. Tony went to dialysis 3 times a week faithfully and worked around his schedule to have fun with his family and friends. He cherished the time he spent with his daughter and his two grandchildren, and would do anything for them, even if he did without.

 Tony was preceded by his grandmother Lita Gomez, mom, Connie Wright, brothers Richard Martinez, Edward Martinez and Don Martinez. He is survived by his Daughter Marissa Martinez, two grandchildren Yvette and Enrique junior (Gutierrez), Sisters Joyce Herman and husband David, and Joan Trujillo husband Nestor, with many nephews, great nephews, nieces, great nieces, Aunts and many cousins

 A rosary will be recited at St. Annes church on November 04, 2024 at 9:00am followed by  the Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Annes at 10:00.
