Anthony Montoya

Anthony "Bones" Montoya, age 54, a lifelong resident of La Puebla, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 9, 2020. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Eustaquio and Flossie Montoya; brother, Arthur "Tootsie" Montoya; grandparents, Luis and Victoria Avila, Felicita Montoya, and Matias and Estefanita Montoya; Uncles, Luis Avila Jr., Ramon Esquibel Sr., Camilo Trujillo, Casimiro Montoya, Daniel Montoya, Pete Montoya; Aunts, Josephina Maestas, Andreita Flores and close aunt, Edwina Esquibel.

Anthony is survived by his beloved son, Anthony Martinez; Kimberly Martinez, beloved mother of his son, Anthony and her spouse, Lawrence and daughter, Aubrey Garcia. His dog that he loved very much, Snowball; close nephew, Arthur Montoya Jr of Rio Rancho; close niece Kristy Montoya of La Puebla; sister in law, Cecilia Montoya of La Puebla; Uncle, Paul Medina and wife Mary of Chimayo; Aunt, Edith Trujillo of Chimayo; close cousins, Ramon Esquibel Jr. of Cuarteles, James and Ruth Esquibel of La Puebla; Special friends, James Casias, Arleth Vega, Joe Duran, as well as many other cousins, relatives and friends.

Special thank you to the doctors and nurses and most especialy to RN Mary Money and the entire staff of the ICU at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe.

Public visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 beginning at 6 PM followed by a prayer service at 7 PM.
