Anthony John Sisneros, age 54 passed away in Rio Rancho, NM on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Anthony was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on March 29, 1964. After his birth, his family moved to the Bay Area in California. While growing up in the Bay Area, he attended Assumption Catholic Elementary School, Shiloh Christian Academy and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Alameda, CA. After graduating from high school, he joined the Marine Corps and served for eight years. During his service, he was married in Okinawa, Japan, reached the rank of Sergeant and received an honorable discharge in 1990.
Anthony loved the Lord and attended Shiloh Christian Church in Oakland in his younger years and Legacy Church in Albuquerque in his latter years. He was a proud father and enjoyed reminising about his children. In addition to being an avid Raider fan, he had an incredible personality and contagious smile. Many will remember him for his sense of humor and his ability to make his family and friends laugh. He loved southwest food, fishing, music and will be loved forever and missed dearly by his family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Gilbert Sisneros, his brothers Gil and Matthew and his sons, Nicholas, Joshua, Kyle, Anthony John and Jacob.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 1pm at El Buen Pastor Assembly of God Church, 607 Calle Rivera, Española, NM 87532. Burial will follow at 3pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
