Antonio 'Tony' Esquibel

Antonio (Tony) P. Esquibel passed away peacefully November 22, 2018 after a lengthy illness at his home with family at his side. Tony wasa life long rancher, cattle order buyer, and was active in different state boards. He is preceeded by his parents: Eloisa and Hipolito; brothers: Gilbert, Hipolito Jr., Juan, Herculano, and Ramon (Brother Amedy); and sisters: Rose Esquibel, Imelda Baca, and Josina Vigil. Tony is survived by his wife: Catherine of 55 years marriage; children: Paul and Christina; and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his only surviving sister, Eloisa (Raymond Lobato) and sister-in-law Macoliva Esquibel and many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and other loving relatives and friends. We wish to thankall of Amber Care staff who took care of him diligently and Father Ted who assisted us. A Rosary will be prayed on Tuesday, November 27. 2018, 6PM at San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos, NM. The Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, 10AM at San Jose Catholic Church followed by burial at Las Nutrias Cemetery, Las Nutrias, NM.
