Antonio "Tony Red" Valdez

Antonio “Tony Red” Valdez, 74, of Valdez passed away on January 8, 2016. He worked at Moly Corp and Taos Ski Valley. He was the founder of Valdez Land & Cattle in 1969 and was the president of the Cerro Azul Grazing Association. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro and Maclovia Valdez and father in-law, Antonio Trujillo. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Terecina Valdez, children, Tony Valdez (Antonia), Floyd Valdez (Evelyn), Veronica Valdez, Renee Valdez (Ted), grandchildren, Anthony, Amberley, Victoria and Alejandro, great-grandson, Mateo, sisters and brothers, Neoma Martinez (Palemon), Flora Gonzales (Faustin), Mercy Lucero, Olivia Martinez (Joe) and Arturo Valdez, mother in law, Candida Trujillo, many other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on January 12, 2016. Funeral mass was held January 13, 2016. Both were held at the Holy Trinity Church with interment following at the Valdez Cemetery.
