APOLONIA SANCHEZ-ESPINOZA - Age 94 a resident of El Llano passed away on Wednesday, March 1st. She was the daughter of the late Uvaldo and Socorro Sanchez, and was preceded in death by them, as well as her husband, Felix Espinoza; daughter Orlinda Martinez; granddaughter, Debbie Espinoza; and great granddaughters: Claudette S. Martinez and Anna Ortiz. May their souls rest in peace. She is survived by her daughter, Socorro Chavez and husband Roque of El Guique; son, Johnny Espinoza and wife Rose of El Llano; grandson, Anthony Espinoza whom she raised; son-in-law, Clotario Martinez and wife Suzie of El Rancho; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, March 3rd at 7 o'clock in the evening in the chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 in the morning at La Iglesia De Santa Cruz De La Cañada. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers: Wilfred, Rocky, Michael and Clarence Chavez, James and Joseph Martinez and Laureano Espinoza. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters: Annette Gonzales, Sharon Ortiz and Pamela Chavez. The family of Apolonia Sanchez-Espinoza has placed their trust in the Rivera family of Block-Salazar Mortuary.
