Arcelia Tafoya Martinez

Arcelia Maria Tafoya Martinez, 80, of Chimayo formerly of Taos passed away on May 31, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso and Sinforosa Tafoya, sisters, Trinidad Mondragon and Loretta Cordova, son, Ralph Aguilar, grandson, Frankie Vigil and daughter in-law, Irene Valerio Tafoya. She is survived by her husband, Pat Martinez, children, Annie Pacheco (David), Nick Tafoya (Debbie), Louisa Sanchez, Phillip Aguilar, Mavie Tafoya (Bernadette), Larry Tafoya, stepdaughters, Veronica and Lulu, 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, sister and brothers, Palomon Tafoya, Flora Montoya, Lucia Casias (Ted), Isabel Gonzales, Marina Tafoya, Polly Tafoya and Tommy Tafoya, special nephew, Gilbert Mondragon, special friend, Irene Roybal, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Thanks to hospice in Taos and Espanola and thanks to all the staff at the Taos Living Center. Rosary was recited on June 4, 2015. Funeral mass was held on June 5, 2015.
