Archie Garcia

Archie Garcia, 52, of Questa passed away unexpectedly on August 09, 2013. He was a graduate of Questa High School. He loved his Harley Davidson and being out on the road but not as much as being home with his family. He worked at many mines throughout New Mexico and most recently at the Mosaic Mine in Carlsbad. He is preceded in death by his parents, Felimon and Odelia Garcia, brother, Steve Garcia, sister, Pat Garcia Dominguez and brother in law, Damian Ortega. He is survived by his children, Vanessa Garcia (Javier Rascon) and Paul Garcia all of Albuquerque and Michelle Rodriguez (Jorge) of Texas, fiancé, Julia Valerio of Ranchos de Taos, stepchildren, Amanda Ortiz (Chris) of Albuquerque and Richard Valerio of Ranchos de Taos, grandchildren, Tiana and Neveah Rascon, Ashton and Christian Ortiz and Angel Valerio, sisters and brothers, Veronica Sanders, Arturo Chude Garcia, Gloria Sandoval, Robert Garcia (Christine), Maxine Harris (James), Jeannette Janie Garcia, Melvin Garcia (Darlene), Julie Segura (Billy) and Joseph Garcia (Lisa), brother in law, Ross Dominguez, sister in law, Berna Garcia, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rosary was recited on August 15, 2013. Funeral mass was held on August 16, 2013. Both were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Taos with interment following at the El Pueblito Cemetery in Questa.
