Armando E. Romero

Armando E. Romero, 80, of Penasco passed away February 7, 2012. He retired from the mine after many years of working in Grants, Silverton, Montana, Questa and other mines. He was a veteran of the US Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo and Solidea Romero, brother, Tito Romero and sister-in-law, Marcella Romero. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Raquel Romero (Mary) of Salt Lake City, UT, Kate Lucero (Dan) of Pueblo, CO, Louis Romero (Naomi) of Las Vegas, NV, Cruzita Romero (Juan) of Ranchos de Taos, Pat Romero (Margie) of Los Angeles, CA and many nieces and nephews. Rosary was recited on February 12, 2012 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Penasco. Funeral mass was held on February 13, 2012 at San Antonio de Padua Church. Interment was held on February 14, 2012 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
