Armando Trujillo

November 1, 1936 — April 2, 2021

Armando Alfonso Trujillo, 84, resident of Medanales, New Mexico passed away on April 02, 2021. He was born on November 01, 1936 to Juan B. and Maria Trujillo of El Llano, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Teresa, his daughter Merna Romero husband Rick, son Oliver Trujillo, grand-daughter Amber Trujillo, great grandchildren, Amethyst, Lorenzo, and Erica. Many additional family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his grandson, Ivan Trujillo, his brothers, Mike, Phil, Adrian, Gilbert and Joe, sisters Candy and Nora; his in laws Pedro and Beroniz Garcia, and various brother and sister in-laws.

Armando served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Private First Class Trujillo received the National Defense Service Medal.

His hobbies were hunting, fishing, woodworking, and jewelry making. He was an outdoor enthusiast. He loved spending time with family, dancing, and working with his tractor. He was usually quiet, but known for an occasional zinger that would break the silence with a heartfelt laugh. He will be dearly missed.

The family would like to express a heartfelt Thank You for all of the prayers, cards, food, money, and loving support.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 908 W. Calle Rosario in Espanola, on Monday, April 26 at 12:  PM. Immediately following the Mass, Burial Service will follow at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
