Arthur R. Trujillo, Sr.

Arthur R. Trujillo, Sr., age 85 of Espanola, NM. died peacefully on Friday December 2, 2011. He was born to the late Fernando and Cleotilde Trujillo in Espanola in 1926. He is a United States Army veteran, and enjoyed time spent with family, ranching, farming and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents and also sisters Mary Vigil, Benie Lovato, Ida Abeyta, Manuelita Arrellanes and Lydia Lerouge, and brother, Richard Trujillo. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Priscilla Trujillo, son Art Trujillo, Jr. and wife Doris of Espanola, grandchildren Aaron Trujillo and Elizabeth Martinez, sister Matilda Gurule, special nephew Jake Rodriguez and other relatives. Recitation of the Rosary was held December 5, 2011 in the chapel of Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated December 6, 2011 at Sacred Heart Church. Interment followed at The Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 P.M. with military honors. Pallbearers: Joseph Salazar, Jake Rodriquez, Fernando Trujillo, Hernando Trujillo, Leonard Vigil, Vidal Aragon.
