Ashlie K. Nohl
Ashlie Kellie Nohl (“Auntie Ashlie”) died suddenly on December 8th at the age of 45. She was born on June 6, 1972 to Vickie Sullivan and Keeton Nohl and was a resident of Santa Fe, NM.
Ashlie was an animal and a people lover with an engaging personality and a gentle heart of pure gold. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and worked with her.
She is preceded in death by her father Keeton Nohl, a Veteran, and is survived by her mother Vickie Sullivan (Jack Sullivan), brother Aaron Nohl (Jill Nohl), nephew Dylan Nohl, and niece Alex Schenk all of Santa Fe, NM.
Ashlie was a graduate of Santa Fe High School, attended New Mexico State University and served for 4 years overseas in the US Army, where she was awarded the Army Commendation Medal and Good Conduct Medal. She graduated from Santa Fe Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing and was employed for 12 years as a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Presbyterian Española Hospital in its emergency room.
Those who wish to do so may make a contribution in Ashlie’s memory to the Española Valley Humane Society.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Santa Fe, on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at noon. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
