Baby Evander Aarons

Please join us as we celebrate the life of an Angel - Evander Dean Aarons 

Our sweet baby boy was unexpectedly called home to be with our Lord on December 17, 2020. Although our hearts are broken, we will always treasure the memories we made and remember his beautiful smile and how much joy and love he brought to our family.

Evander was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Louise Valdez, and great-grand parents Rogelio & Viola Portillo.  He is survived by his parents Stephanie Portillo and Ian Aarons of Albuquerque, NM; his paternal grandparents Stephen and Doris Aarons, maternal grandparents Estevan Portillo and Veronica Bustamante, special uncle Alex Costello, his maternal great-grandparents Robert and Tommie Bustamante, all of Santa Fe, NM, and his paternal great grandmother Teddy Costello of St. Louis, Missouri, and many family & friends.  

A prayer service in Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rivera Family Funeral Home in the Rivera Kiva Chapel of Light, 417 E. Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM; Immediately following the service, a reception will be held at the FOP, 3300 Calle Maria Luisa, Santa Fe NM.
