Barbara Diane Richardson

Barbara Diane Shute Richardson went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 17, 1935. She loved life, her family, and her pets. She retired from the State of New Mexico, volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital for twenty years, and enjoyed bowling and bingo.

She is survived by: her four children, son Fred (Rich) and wife Marsha, daughter Gwen Casias and husband Daniel, daughter Kimberly Aragon, son Sean and wife Kisha, stepson William (Bill) Richardson and wife Angela; her eight grandchildren Kevin, Kristina Cox and husband Robert, Kayla Gonzales and husband Santiago, Gabriel Aragon and wife Crystal, Miranda , Felipe Casias, Preston and his wife Shannon, Garrett; her eight Great-grandchildren Danielle Vigil and her husband Justin, Davina Cox, Tiffany Gonzales, Malakai Aragon, Azariah Aragon, Laylani Aragon, Lillianna Aragon, Rosemary Richardson; and two Great-Great-grandchildren Khora and Bennett Vigil.

In honor of her wishes she will be cremated and a private service for family only will be held. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Santa Fe Animal Shelter in her honor.
