Barbara J. Gordon

Barbara J. Bobbie Gordon, 66, a resident of Espanola, NM passed away peacefully on September 5, 2012. She was born on June 7, 1946 in Clayton, NM to Dila and Hardy C. Gordon. Bobbie is preceded in death by her mother and father Hardy C. and Dila Gordon, sister Bretha Strother of California, and brothers; Robert, Elmer and Tom Gordon. She is survived by brother Earl Gordon and wife Corrine of Texas, sisters Lydia Gordon and companion William Sanchez of Dixon and Clara D. Archuleta of Espanola, special nephew Chris G. Chavez and companion Denise Martinez of Espanola and many other nephews and nieces. Bobbie was a very special Angel. She always had a smile and loved everyone. She will be greatly missed by everyone and by the staff at Sombrillo nursing home. A wake was held on September 9, 2012. A funeral service was celebrated on September 10, 2012. Both services were held in the Rivera Family Funeral Home Chapel in Espanola. Burial followed at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Santa Fe. Pallbearers: Chris G. Chavez, Irvin Romero, Henrietta Romero, Josuah Romero and Elizabeth Roybal.
