Although a relatively recent resident of Los Alamos, NM, she was from the Midwest with a great love of the heat and desert of Arizona. Born in Moline, Illinois she moved to the desert Southwest 3 times in her life and wishes for her ashes to be scattered near a Saguaro Cactus in Arizona.

Although never clearing the 5 foot mark on the ruler and being a natural strawberry blond she spent most of her working years as a Service Writer for various auto dealerships in the Quad City (Iowa/Ilinois) area. This was at a time that women in the Service Department were a rarity. Her favorite story to tell was when men would come in the service department and look over her head and proclaim “I need to talk to a man”, her response…”I do too”.
We will miss her… I (her daughter) have missed her for a very long time.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association or to your local Animal Shelter (for her love of cats).
