Barbara Stampley

Barbara Stampley passed away on October 29, 2016. Barbara, a strong defender of animals, leaves behind her beloved four legged friends Lilly and Honey. Barbara rescued many animals, nurtured them back to health and cherished them like children. There are many friends who will miss Barbara, none more than Vivian Santistevan and Wanda Lucero. Barbara did a lot of amazing things in her life and finally settled in to a career as a Human Resources professional. Her directness, loyalty and kindness will be missed by all the employees she touched while working at Angel Fire Resort, Centinel Bank of Taos, Wanda Lucero State Farm Insurance Agency and as an HR consultant for Taos HR ganics. Very special thanks to Charles Chacon, who gave Barbara and her puppies a beautiful home to live in when no one else would. At Barbara’s request, no formal services will be held and in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Stray Hearts Taos Animal Shelter or any organization dedicated to the rescue of helpless animals.
