Beatrice Marie Kaundart

Beatrice (Bea) Kaundart, formally from Santa Fe, passed away peacefully on November 15th surrounded by her family. She was 92 years old. 

Bea was born in Ocate, NM and later moved to Santa Fe where she met her future husband, Billy Kaundart. 

She and Billy wed and had three children, Jeana, Sharon and Ron. 

She worked at the Palace and La Fonda restaurants in Santa Fe for several years, then began the job she loved the most, daycare, in 1969. She had her daycare service for 42 years and loved every minute of it and the many children she cared for during that time.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Kaundart, daughter Sharon Gurule, her mother and father, Lore and Ben Garcia, sisters Celia Sanchez and Sadie Blea, and brothers Ben and Ernest Garcia. She is survived by her daughter Jeana Finn Thomas (Dan), son Ron Kaundart (Sandra), grandchildren Jason Finn, Brandon Finn, Jeremy Kaundart, and Felicia Kaundart, and great grandchildren Jaylin Kaundart, Evelyn Kaundart and Adrian Kaundart, her sister Josie Gullicksen, and many nieces and nephews. 

There are not any services planned at this time but will have a family burial at a later date.
