Beatrice Chavez 81, resident of Santa Fe, NM passed away January 6, 2019. She was born on December 26, 1937 in Las Vegas, NM to Regina and Marcos Baca. She is preceded in death by her parents: Marcos and Regina Baca, husband: Juan Chavez, daughter: Lenora Chavez, sisters: Ofelia Montoya, Melina Gonzales, Virginia Arguello, Corina Martinez and Angie Gallegos. Beatrice is survived by her brother: Gabriel Baca from Las Vegas, NM, sons: David Chavez (Dorthy) from Las Vegas, NM and Juanito Chavez from Santa Fe, NM, grandsons: David Chavez Jr. (Vanessa) from Albuquerque, NM, Ben Martinez (Ashley) from Las Vegas, NM, Juanito Chavez (Nancy) from Santa Fe, NM, granddaughter: Jessica Chavez from Las Vegas, NM and 4 great grandchildren. Mass will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s the Baptist Catholic Church in Santa Fe, NM, followed by Interment at the Santa Fe Memorial Gardens.
