Ben Gonzales

Ben (Beno) Marcos Gonzales, beloved son, brother, and uncle passed away on April 20, 2024 at the age of 40.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Marcos Gonzales, grandmother's Amy Gonzales and Claudia Varela, uncle's Henry Varela and Stevie Varela, and aunt Cindy Varela.

He is survived by his parents, Bennie and Elaine Gonzales, sister Nicole Cardenas, Brother-in-law Richard Cardenas, niece Carolina Cardenas, godparents Peter Varela and Mamie Gonzales, aunt Wanda (Joe), uncle Nicky (Arlene), aunt Judy (Vince), as well as numerous cousins (Primos) and friends.

Ben lived his life to the fullest. He was an avid hunter and found joy and adventure through travel and the great outdoors. He loved his family and friends with his whole heart (Puro Amor). We will miss his beautiful smile and kind heart.

A rosary and funeral service will be held in honor of Ben Marcos Gonzales on Friday May 3, 2024 at St. Anthony’s Church in Pecos, NM. Visitation at 9am, Rosary at 10am, and Funeral Mass at 11am.

Pallbearers will be Jason Roybal, Abe Lopez, Alex Lopez, Mark Romero, Adrian Quintana, Donovan Lovato. Honorary pallbearers are all his Primos and Primas.
