Benjamin Gilbert Chavez Sr.

Benjamin Gilbert Chavez Sr., 60, of Cordillera passed away April 1, 2013. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Chavez and father, Gilbert Chavez. He is survived by his children, Ben Gilbert Chavez Jr. (Cheryl) of Cerro, Jesus Chavez of Taos, Julia Olivas (Omar) of Arroyo Hondo and Diego Chavez (Sheryl) of Taos, mother, Andreita Chavez, mother of his children, Edith Abeyta, 11 grandchildren, sisters, Maria Chavez Medina (Zenovio), Consuelo Trujillo (Leo), Valentina Marquez (Jesus), Berlinda Sandoval (Gary), brothers, Lester Chavez (Bertha) and Lester Chavez Jr., numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on April 4, 2013. Funeral Mass was held on April 5, 2013 at the San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church with interment following at the Jesus Nazareno Cemetery.
