Benjamin Gonzales

Benjamin G. Gonzales, 62, of Vadito passed away on June 17, 2022.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Estevan and Maria Lupita Gonzales, brother, Johnny Gonzales, grandparents, Rubel and Evangelina Gonzales and Brijido and Bersabe Lopez.  He is survived by his brothers, Andy Gonzales (Joann), Bobby Gonzales (Rebecca), Frank Gonzales and Gerald Gonzales (Maria), sisters, Bertha Lovato (Franklin), Charlene Gonzales (+Greg), Elaine Lovato (Joseph), Dora Perea (Lee) and Patricia Martinez (Marty), multiple nieces and nephews, Godson, Jonathon Cordova and Goddaughter, Annabeth Lovato.  Ben graduated from Penasco High School.  He soon after enlisted in the US Army and was honorably discharged as a Tank Turret Repairer in 1984.  Ben worked as a logger with his brothers Bobby and Frank.  He also worked as an Auto Body Technician, worked construction with Gonzales Contractors and worked for over 20 years with his brother Bobby at Diamond Finish.  He had various other jobs and was a skilled craftsman.  Ben was a kind and caring, hard-working person and helped numerous people and was loved by everyone.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed.

Rosary will be Thursday June 30, 2022 at 10:00am with funeral mass to follow at 11:00 am at San Antonio de Padua Church in Penasco.
