Benjamin Maestas

Benjamin Maestas, 89, of Taos was carried away by angels on September 4, 2018. He is predeceased by his parents, Jacobo Maestas and Celina Bernal Maestas; his son, John Maestas; and all 11 of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ernesta Maestas; his daughters, Jayne (Jimmy) Trujillo, Bea Vigil and Virginia (Anthony) Medina; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; and his grand-dogs, Maxx, Chewy, Oreo & Peanut. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11 AM at the Valley Baptist Church in Taos. Interment will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 11:15 AM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
