Benjamin "Mr. Ben" Trujillo – Age 79, a native and lifelong resident of Chimayo passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Mr. Ben dedicated his life to others by teaching math at Pojoaque High School for 35 years and also taught at Northern New Mexico Community College and at the New Mexico State Penitentiary. He enjoyed telling stories and had a great sense of humor. He is survived by his brother, Camilo Trujillo and his wife Edith of Chimayo, his sister Lydia Gallegos of Alququerque, his wife Violet Rose Trujillo, his sons: Roy Trujillo and his wife Lora of Nutley, NJ, and Mark Trujillo of Santa Fe, his daughter: Paula Trujillo of Chimayo, his four granddaughters: Angel Rose Trujillo, Katlyn Rose Trujillo, Dawn Daisy Vigil and Brielle D'Shae Trujillo, one grandson: Benjamin Phillip Trujillo, his great-granddaughter Juliette Jade Martinez, nephews: Bob Gallegos and wife Cindy of Albuquerque, David Trujillo of Chimayo his nieces: Gloria Best of Phoenix, Donna Read and husband Bill of League City, TX, and numerous other relatives and friends.
