Benny served in the Army in Vietnam from 1969-1970 in the 25th Infantry Division as a 11B20 Light Weapons Infantryman. He retired from Santa Fe County after 25 years in 1995. Benny loved to be at home with his family, which was his safe and happy place. He was always willing to help anyone out in need and was very giving, especially when it came to his family. He used to love to take his daily walks, eat at Lotaburger, go grocery shopping and pay his bills only in person. His grandchildren brought him joy and laughter when they came to visit and not to mention, his siblings who were constantly making him laugh. He will be deeply missed but every moment spent with him will be cherished forever.
We would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Veterans Affairs, Compassus Hospice Care and Comfort Keepers In-Home Care for your loving and caring services provided during Benny’s time of illness.
