Bernadette Vigil-Velasquez

Bernadette Nora Vigil-Velasquez was born on August 27, 1962 to her father Reynal A. Vigil, and mother Minnie Vigil. Bernadette passed away December 2, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her father Reynal A. Vigil, her grandparents Porfirio and Ramoncita Vigil, Juan I and Petra Gutierrez, father of her child and partner Paul Martinez, and also with many relatives from the Vigil and Gutierrez families. 

She is survived by her husband Rick Velasquez, son Aaron Martinez of Espanola, Mother Minnie Vigil of Guachupangue, sister Jeanette Sanchez of Pojoaque Pueblo, sister Annette Vigil Lujan of Guachupangue, brother Timothy Vigil (Dianna) of Rio Rancho, aunt Gloria Garcia (John), aunt Lois De La Cruz (Derek), aunt Genevieve Gutierrez, uncle Tony Gutierrez (Juanita) all of Santa Clara Pueblo, and aunt Thelma Talachy (Joe) of Pojoaque Pueblo, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives from the Vigil and Gutierrez Family. 

Memorial Services will be at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, NM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. with interment to follow at the Pojoaque Pueblo of NM.
