Bernard James Smith

Bernard James Smith, 91, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in Albuquerque. He served with the U.S. Army in late WWII and was a part of the Japan occupation following Japan’s surrender. In years past, Mr. Smith operated several business entities in Clayton, NM, including the Phillips 66 filling station and a tire shop. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Rivera Family Kiva of Light and interment with full military honors will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 pm.
