Bernie Cortez

Bernie Cortez, 84, of Taos went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2019.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwardo and Maria Inez Cortez, sister, Cecilia Martinez, brother, Edwardo Cortez and granddaughter, Danielle Green.  She is survived by her daughters, Loretta Lucero (Wayne) and Yolanda Salazar (Mike), son, Robert Cortez, sister, Annabelle Marquez, grandchildren, Eltin Lucero (Margaret), Aaron Lucero, Andres Salazar (Elishia) and Antonette Cortez, great grandchildren, Antonio, Skye, Andres Jr., Elias, Angelita, Romeo, Pedro, Ezikio and Roselynn, special nieces, Barbara Garcia and Dolores Anaya, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Rivera Chapel.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 10 AM at the Ranchos Presbyterian Church with interment following at the Dolores Cemetery.  Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home, Taos.  To share a memory, please visit our website at www.riverafuneralhome.com
